Community Event: Racial Solidarity in Montgomery County

This webinar will present insights on cross-racial organizing in Montgomery County. Funded by a MoCo Community Grant to the Montgomery County Progressive Asian American Network, the event will center local efforts and key organizations, sharing opportunities to strengthen relationship and diverse coalitions moving forward.

This panel will be moderated by Ethan Park, MoCoPAAN Fellow. Featured panelists include:

  • Janelle Wong, MoCoPAAN Board Member, Director of Asian American Studies at UMD
  • Mady Nadjé, Co-director of Everyday Canvassing
  • Izola Shaw, Rockville City Councilmember
  • Ana Martinez, Senior Legislative Aide to Councilmember Kristin Mink
