On Tisha B’Av (the 9th of the Hebrew month of Av),we observe the tradition of mourning thousands of years of destruction and oppression of our people, from Moses smashing the first two tablets to destruction of both Holy Temples in Jerusalem to subsequent exiles, mass murders, and deportations. Join us Sunday to grieve the broader suffering and destruction around us, through chanting of traditional texts, lifting up demands and voices of those impacted by detention, deportation, imprisonment, and other state violence, and bringing our lamentations to the seats of federal and local power.

Charm City was filmed over three tumultuous years covering the lead up to, and aftermath of, Freddie Gray’s death in police custody.
