DC leaders and organizers have been preparing for 5779 with months of thoughtful conversations to explore what campaign we might work on next in the District. The DC Campaign Selection Team is ready to burst into this new year with potential campaigns that will help bring us closer to racial and economic justice in the District. For our next campaign to be successful, we need you, our JUFJ community, to tell us which of the possible campaigns are most aligned with JUFJ's values and strengths, and for which campaign(s) you'd be excited to take action.
Join JUFJ for a recap of our Trust Act campaign so far, and to discuss next steps.
In community organizing we make change by building the collective power of individuals. Organizing for racial equity can work the same way. No matter who we are, we all carry implicit bias within us that affects the way we see, treat, and form relationships with other people.
